Noemi started working for Voices in May 2019. She was born and raised in Twin Falls County. Prior to Voices, Noemi worked closely with children, youth, and adults in various educational professions. She has 6 years of experience in education and working with marginalized communities. Noemi attended the University of Idaho and holds a Bachelor of Science in Child Development and Family Relations. Always working with people of all ages, she is passionate about her career and helping others. Noemi is dedicated to teaching the community about topics such as domestic violence, human trafficking, and ensuring the community is aware of our resources. With her experience working with children and youth, she has been able to prioritize the need for education around subjects such as healthy relationships, consent, and abuse. Noemi provides education in the counties of Twin Falls, Jerome, Gooding, and Lincoln. Empowering community members is a value Noemi strongly believes in. Through her life skills classes, participants are offered opportunities for growth and development. Life skills classes include budgeting, nutritional information, meditation, and parenting. Her presentations, educational topics, and life skills classes are free and available in English and Spanish, allowing her to expand her work.
